The University Department of Affective and Psychotic Disorders is based in the Central Clinical Hospital at Czechoslowacka Street 8\/10. It carries out research into four areas: schizophrenia, affective disorders, psychopharamacotherapy and neuropsychology. You can learn more about these research themes by clicking on the topics that interest you.<\/p>\n<p>The clinical activities of the Department are relevant to its research mission and the clinical requirements of Psychiatry based on Evidence Based Medicine. An important component of our work is teaching psychiatry to medical students. The Department of Affective and Psychotic Disorders also provides post-graduate education in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology.
